The Funky PresidentĀ steadyĀ flauntin'.Ā J-Rocc aka "the best DJ in the world" resurrects his Flaunt Edwards alias for aĀ stunning batch of electro-fiedĀ bangers to turn out the dancefloorĀ out. On The Name Is Flaunt, the veteran L.A. party-rocker showcases his experience and versatilityĀ with 6 sure shot re-works that channel the spirit of underground legends likeĀ Ron Hardy, Larry Levan, andĀ DJ Harvey.Ā A freaked Kraftwerk sample kicks things offĀ on the electro-footwork fusion of "No Fun," while the funkĀ comesĀ strongĀ on theĀ killer female vocal sample-leadĀ workout "Anymore." Next up, J-Rocc switches it upĀ with some old school warehouse vibesĀ on the mambo-tinged house groove "Desilu," before returning to Kraftwerk pitch play on theĀ ampedĀ up "Computer World" take, "The Highway."
