DO NOT CALL HAIM A "GIRL BAND." The sisters from LA are accomplished musicians and would take the label as an insult. Something To Tell You is the second full-length from the group, and they certainly know how to write charming pop songs. Equal parts '70s soft rock and modern r&b, Este, Danielle, and Alana are masters of elevated harmonies, catchy melodies, and lively rhythms, and they present a beautifully crafted second album based on themes of romance, heartbreak, heartache, and longing. Very enjoyable listen from beginning to end, highlights include: "Right Now," "Little of Your Love," "Want You Back," and "Nothing's Wrong."
