Sophomore studio album from Vancouver's Mother Mother. O My Heart was originally released in 2008 and showcased a lively balance of accessibility and artsy experimentation. You get the feeling that the band is having a great deal of fun as they move through hook filled indie pop numbers like "Wrecking Ball," "Arms Tonight," and "Wisdom." Their lyrics may be a little obtuse, but Mother Mother's infectious strain of poppy rock n roll will draw you right in. Twelve tracks in all.
