5th studio album from Paramore! The Tennessee pop rock band fronted by Hayley Williams (B.O.B. "Airplanes" & Zedd "Stay the Night") delivers an upbeat, glossy pop album that's informed by rock, punk, and '80s music, and although the group's emo DNA is still there, the songs lack the whining and... whining that its contemporaries usually drown themselves in. And that's a good thing, which, in addition to the catchy hooks and bouncy rhythms Paramore lays down throughout After Laughter, brings forth a very accessible, well crafted pop album: just check out "Hard Times," "Told You So," "Fake Happy," "Pool," and "Tell Me How."
